I have always loved the Baby Lips collection by Maybelline, in fact Cherry Me is my lip staple. What I love about them is that they have great pigmentation considering they're just a balm and do feel really hydrating. So when I saw that Maybelline had brought a new range out I just felt compelled to try them out.
The shade I picked from Boots was Pink Shock because for me, I know I can never go wrong with a good rich pink shade.
Just like the others I was very pleased with the strong colour and the hydration of the balm. I can safely say that the 8 hour moisture is a bit of an exaggeration (more like 1 & a half), but if you're someone who is prone to drier lips you're probably in for a treat. (quite literally they smell like cherries and taste like sweets. I don't really recommend eating them though..)
With the new sticks, you'd almost believe you were wearing a lip crayon than a balm. The colour is very vibrant and I also find it doesn't crack very easily with the petroleum base. I'm not quite sure about the neon kick they advertise, but they are very nice and bright.
You can pick these sticks from Boots for £2.99. They're a great fun addition to other lip products and definitely a must have for the bottom of your handbag.
