Product Review | Maybelline Dream Flawless Nude Foundation

Hello lovelies!
Sorry I haven't posted recently I've been really busy with work/family/assignments, but
I hope everyone has had a lovely relaxing Easter and hopefully nobody has had a major chocolate egg overdose.. ANYWAY I recently purchased the latest Maybelline foundation and thought I'd give my opinion on it, if anyone is interested.

Maybelline Dream Flawless Nude Foundation

I've always been a fan of Maybelline foundations and as I young teenager, I swore by their Dream Satin Liquid and the Dream Matte Mousse. I have to say that this foundation is seriously brilliant when first applied. The consistency goes on quite runny, but as soon as it is rubbed in it literally feels like silk. Like most high street foundations, there isn't a vast amount of colours to choose from, and even though I went for the lightest shade it is still a tiny bit dark for my skin tone. Another great thing about this foundation is its lasting power. Granted if you wish to wear it from morning until evening I can't say your face will look flawless, but for the price of the product (£5.99) I'd say it's pretty decent.  I must say however I do find the applicator a bit odd and it would probably be better with a pump. Also I wouldn't advise this foundation to someone with drier skin as it can tend to stick more parched areas giving off the much sought flaky skin look, ahem.

I hope this has helped anyone who was considering buying the product. I really do whole heartedly recommend trying the foundation and I think this will be great with the warmer weather coming, so hopefully I won't be walking around looking like I've dunked my face in chip fat. What a beautiful image.
